La Chine a installé environ **295 000 robots industriels en 2024**, soit plus de la moitié des nouvelles installations mondiales cette année-là. Son parc opérationnel a dépassé **2 millions de robots**, selon les données de l'International Federation of Robotics.

Le phénomène est révélateur d'une transformation industrielle profonde.

La Chine ne cherche plus seulement à produire davantage.

Elle cherche à **automatiser davantage sa production**.

### Le paradoxe

La même technologie qui permet de compenser certaines contraintes démographiques et d'accroître la productivité pose une autre question :

> **Combien d'emplois industriels la Chine peut-elle automatiser avant que l'automatisation ne devienne elle-même un problème social ?**
